The preponderance of Hub's product offerings is paperboard and plastic folding cartons, laminated single face B, E, and F flute, and plastic thermoforms.

How can this be accomplished?
These unique LIQUID INK TECHNOLOGIES allow Hub to utilize SBS in lieu of expensive foil, metallized polyester and holographic laminates to achieve high end graphic solutions that can be accomplished in one printing pass!!
These unique effects include; LIQUID LUSTRE™ , LIQUID SHIMMER™ , LIQUID EMBOSS™ , LIQUID EFFECTS™ , LIQUID DIFFRACTION™ , LIQUID HOLOGRAMS™ and LIQUID SOFT FEEL™ .
Hub also provides customers with the ability for one stop shopping. Hub's Development Group (Graphic, Structural, Plastic, Design, Mechanical Packaging, Product Development, and Engineering) provide customers with multiple solutions to their packaging needs.
Our product development group works with existing and new potential clients to develop new and innovative products that will solve customers' problems but create organic growth for Hub! Some of these products include Hub's EZBox, an economical replacement for a set box, The patented Lok-Box™ that provides customer's an alternative to their current gift sets for a tamper evident and economical loading solution, new combination paper and injection molded plastic packaging solutions, Creative paperboard DVD/CD packaging for mailing or retail.
Our Plastic Technology Group specializes in custom molded thermoform parts that are intrinsic to the final packaged product. The creation of the group was a result of recognizing the opportunity to provide our customers with a one-stop solution. The plastics operation is completely integrated - from design through final production of the thermoformed components. The group utilizes Mastercam and Solidworks CAD systems to design the product. The design files are sent to the CNC machines on the plant floor where the prototypes are produced. After final approval of the prototypes, production tooling is produced, and production of the thermoformed components are performed. We can then assemble or ship independently depending on our customers' needs.
Fulfillment, or contract packaging, provides additional one stop shopping solutions for our customer's. Our fulfillment operations are located across the street from our Mansfield, Massachusetts manufacturing facility. This group has the ability to perform turn-key product fulfillment - project management, automatic cartoning, product assembly, display assembly, EAS source tagging, shrink wrapping and automated CD/DVD disc loading.
Hub has also developed a new revolutionary patented DVD package, the OPTIPAK™. The OPTIPAK™ combines the best attributes of tough shock-proof polypropylene injection-molded plastic and printed paperboard or plastic to create a package that is versatile in its ability to offer eye-catching graphics. The OPTIPAK™ has a unique, patented, dome-shaped hub. The hub's softness and flexibility ensures the disc is held in place securely without stress damage on release. The Hub due to the patented design, also acts as an anti-theft feature. The OPTIPAK™ is engineered to run in existing package assembly equipment with only minor adjustments required.
